capturing the program via OBS

Hello. I do virtual readings and usually use OBS virtual cam or OBS to record the reading and the cards that are pulled for the spread. my issue is that the background and the cards are seen as separate windows, so I cannot do a window capture to orientate them in my scenes.
the reason this is an issue is because i can put the background in fine, but when i go to capture a card, it literally only captures the card, it doesn't orient it to where it is on the background. this makes it difficult when trying to capture the two together for different spreads. i would almost have to do different scenes for each spread. (i might see if this works or not, until i see a better option actually)
Does anyone have any other work arounds for this that they have used? I am currently just using display capture, but that picks up on when i alt/tab and other things that ruin... immersion to put a word to it.
