Creating Card Meanings with External Files
Does Orphalese 10.6.3.14 support external .txt files for card meanings, and if so, are they disabled if CardData.xml is initialized for a deck? Or is the internal editor the only way to add card meanings at this time? Thank you.

H Baydar123,
Orphalese doesn't import or support .txt files. It will require a copy and paste. Or coding the txt file to work in Orphalese via a notepad type program.
This is how all the LWB that are in Orphalese are created. There is no quick fix.
Are these your personal notes? If they are from a LWB you can check the File Exchange for them?
Sorry!

Re: Creating Card Meanings with External Files
Thank you for your prompt reply. I already used the internal editor and manually entered each card. I am just intermediate in my computer skills. I rely on YouTube and ChatGPT for instruction. ChatGPT indicated there was a simpler work around but it appears to be wrong. No problem. I uploaded the OSHO Zen Tarot deck with images I copied from the mobile app. They really look nice and I have done a couple practice readings that I am very happy with. The card notes are mainly from the mobile app but I added a brief excerpt from the companion book to the deck called, Tarot in the Spirit of Zen. I have been playing with this deck and working to develop a good way to used it with Orphalese Tarot. In the future, if I make further changes I may update the xml file or perhaps just create another deck version to edit in the internal editor. It is all a learning process. Thank you again.

Yes it can be a learning process. Orphalese has multiple note types. There are 3.
Universal which apply to all decks.
LWB which is for the book meanings
Personal which is for you to add your own notes.
These are just titles, and each note type has two places. Upright and Reversed. The LWB and Personal give you 4 locations to add notes, as you can use those anyway you want to. Before Personal was added, I always used the Reversed box for my personal notes. So you don't really have to have a deck more then once to add different types of notes.
The more you use Orphalese the more you'll realize how much it can actually do.
